mackintosh, Edinburgh, oxford brookes?

kA21

Hi i am Kleovoulos

I have unconditional offer from those universities:

Mackintosh school of architecture (Glasgow school of art) - DipArch

Edinburgh school of architecture -  MArch

Oxford Brookes - MArchD

Liverpool - MArch

Westminster - MArch

So my question is, which school i should choose?

Warm Regards,

Kleovoulos

Why do you think crowd sourcing important life decision is a good idea?

I thought he was talking about wearing a Mackintosh with Oxford shoes. Decently stylish combo.

That combo would never happen with de-evolution. Oxford dons would barf.

Hi non sequitur,

I am asking for opinions about those architecture schools. I got my opinion but i want to hear others too.

You should have asked this questions before you wasted the Uni's time applying to programmes you have no critical opinion of - they are all different. Do your homework.

Why not do a Masters' in Europe then? Basically free in Germany, France, Denmark? Great schools there. (UK has never consider itself Europe)

Makes no sense - do your final degree in the place you wish to practice - use the networking of the place to build connections for the future. None of the schools you listed will build international networks - go for AA or Bartlett for that -

Your English writing appears to be a bit of a challenge for you. Where do you want to work in Europe? Aren't there Unis there?

Those countries plus NL have English speaking programmes. If your long term plans are to live in EU then take the opportunity to build networks with your studies - much hard to randomly apply for jobs across Europe if you have no connection there.

^no he means that he should seperate all the schools randomly into two piles then select the left stack. Repeat the process until only one school is left.

makes sense when you have list greater than 2. Ouija boards-magic 8 balls work also if one is concerned about randomness.

Yes, makes life so much easier and I don't have to waste peoples' time with unprepared questions, win-win Situationism, Guy Debord would be proud.

Obviously, you need to weed out the ones that use the wrong font somehow.
