EPQ Help

Jamie_wood

Hello everyone,

I do hope you all had a pleasant Christmas time. I am a 16 year old student in the UK and I am completing my EPQ, which is where you pick a topic to research and write a 5000 essay on. Now as I want to be an architect once I have completed my studying I thought it was a perfect opportunity to further my knowledge on something I am interested in and so my title is "Does the importance of making buildings environmentally friendly compromise aesthetics?"
I would greatly appreciate if anyone had any views on this title and if anyone could point me in the right direction to research this title. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Aesthetics is highly (purely?) subjective. Environmental design is also subjective but far more complicated than simply making things "nice". You need to focus your question.
