I have become fascinated with this style of antique electric light toggle switches and probably ties into my love of history. I think that they bring a sense of "old modernism" or "past cutting edge technology" if I could make up some terms. Anyone have any better terms to use?
When these were first used they were cutting edge and people that did not have electricity probably would come by and flip on the light and flip out at how advanced and futuristic the world has become.
Has anyone specked these for anything other than historic preservation? Maybe someone has designed a steampunk house.
