Math/Physics preparation for M. Arch

wolfchance

I will be starting a M. Arch program in the fall and need some reading suggestions....

I studied finance in undergrad (graduated ten years ago) and have zero design experience, but I was very strong in Calculus/Trig/Physics. I have fulfilled the pre-reqs for my program in these areas, but my knowledge has accumulated a thick layer of rust over the last ten years.

Has anyone used the textbook Physics for Architects by Yehuda Salu? Thinking of picking that up for some summer reading. Any other book suggestions? Design/Math/Physics related?

Or any other preparatory suggestions for that matter.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yours truly,

The old guy in the back of your M. Arch I studio
