"A Long History of a Short Block"

go do it

This is a study of 486 feet of present-day Greene Street between Houston and Prince Streets in Manhattan, New York.

It is very well done. History with architecture and urban planning, the holy trinity.

I wonder if this format would work for a portfolio?

Enjoy

Beautiful work, just beautiful.

As for how the format works... it's a little cumbersome if you're trying to make sure to see everything there.

Well done. I see that kind of work in the future of how architects sell, in project interviews and in the presentations of their design solutions. If I were practicing today I would substitute a “film” for the whole traditional project interview.
