The best plastic to make a model 1/1000

peixots

Hi Everybody,

I need your help, I'm doing a competition and I need to make a model scale 1/1000. And I would like to know if someone know a type of plastic that normally they use to make this kinds of models (the result seems like plaster, a perfect volume)

for exemple:

and some photos.

Thank you,

Cheers, Joao

Hey..

It's not the extruded polystyrene..It's something harder, seems like plaster... and with polystyrene we would see the lines of the different layers..

This might be a silly question, but why not just use plaster?
