So since my current retirement plan will involve an apartment behind a dumpster and hopefully, at least two to three servings of cat food a day (fingers crossed), I thought I might try a new approach.
I know there had been some thread earlier regarding prisons and whether or not architects should play any part in their design. If architects want to help society and play a part in its betterment, as many indicate they do, perhaps:
Of course there is a huge gulf in the cultural differences between there and the US. I thought this pretty interesting though and thought I'd put it out there for others to react to.
Guess I don’t have a problem with it, don’t think prisons should be miserable, the idea is to isolate the “nuts”, problem in our society is we think we need to “punish” with misery.
