In the spirit of Koolhaas where he wants to make a frame/grid for life to happen rather than a fixed object, I'm looking for examples of buildings that either don't have a fixed program or have a mixed use program in an unconventional way. An example of the latter that first comes to mind is 1111 Lincoln Road by Herzog & de M.
Do yo think a building could be a gallery/museum at one point and a hostel or office or even typical housing at another point, without changing its form? Any examples that come to mind?

Unconventional mixed-use projects
Hi, help me brainstorm for a bit.
