Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to carve out a career as a 3D printing consultant, and I wanted to hear your opinions on how effective 3D printing has been in enhancing your jobs so far. 

From what I know there has been some interest and hype in 2012 among architects about the industry, but things seem to have mellowed a bit after most people got into it and are used to the idea.

Now that architects are somewhat experienced with the technology, has it really had a big impact in your day to day job? (Ie. Do you find it has become essential, or is just another tool?)

Also, I'm based in Asia, and was wondering if the uptake on the technology has been largely confined to firms in Europe and the States, or has it become a very global practice?
