M.Arch in the USA (Fall 2015)

architect_hp

Hello!

I am an international student applying to M.Arch programs in the USA this fall. The following schools are on my list:

1) SCI-ARC

2) UC Berkeley

3) RiceU

4) YaleU

5) UMichigan

I know schools like UC Berkeley and Yale have an insanely low acceptance rate. But what about Rice and Michigan? Any idea?

Also, my GPA is according not a 4-point system. What happens then? They don't ask for any conversion in the application. And if it's low, does that mean I'm automatically rejected?

Can the other things - LOR, Portfolio, Essay save a low GPA? I have about a year of work ex too.

Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you taken the GRE exam? I am asking because u didnt mention it.

As per the requirement they (most of the universities) ask, still have some confusion about the GRE score. So what kind of step you are going to take in this case? May be your answer could help me too.

Thanks for the post.
