Parking Lot Layout Manual / Book

kojmizes

Our small firm is looking for a parking lot layout manual or book with guidelines for dimensions, radii, techniques, etc. For whatever reason there seems to be no consolidated source. Graphic standards is helpful but not extensive, and local zoning is too specific. We're looking for something comparable to the ADA guidelines, concise and all inclusive, a parking bible if you will. Does anyone know of anything like this?

Much appreciated!

Landscape architecture graphic standards has a lot of what you're looking for.

But, generally there is no universal standard. Your city or county should have standards posted somewhere in their code. You can get close though, within a couple feet, with the la standards book.
