Interesting in what regards, building typology, landscaping, programming indoor out door spaces, Placement of key elements such as dorms class rooms or recreational facilities?

Loyola and Roosevelt in Chicago have some new and interesting buildings. Berkeley is set on a very steep hill, Yale has an immense series of concealed or closed off courtyards that separate it from the surrounding city.

Go to the architecture library on your campus and ask the librarian to help you.

The books go much deeper into design than anything you are going to find on the web.

Also a lot of places have pulled floor plans off the net due to terrorist and crazies.

One key aspect is how the college interacts with the surrounding community and the attractiveness (or lack thereof) of both. For a positive example of both school and town you can't do better than the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Beloved, well-maintained, historical old college buildings on a spacious, well-landscaped campus adjoining a classic American small town. I have never seen it done better.

And of course Saarinen at Cranbrook is unlike any campus anywhere.

Jefferson's Lawn with the Rotunda (the original library) and the wings of student's and professors residences on either side of the green is incomparable. A couple of other close-by streets also contain some lovely older buildings. The rest of the campus is pretty much eeech, often 60s crap that needs to be demolished. Also crime is becoming a real problem at UVa especially in the part of town adjacent to the campus. Student on student crime is unfortunately on the rise. The campus was rocked this week by an article in Rolling Stone detailing a recent a group rape in a fraternity house. The university president has shown no leadership since being installed, only platitudes. She was overseas on some sociology boondoggle when the rape story came out. She is on the way back to grace the community with more BS.
