Architecture/Interior Design Education

ade20

Hi all,

I'm currently a 2nd year student going for a bachelors in interior design and architecture. I have a job helping out in a very reputable architecture firm and am tempted to switch into architecture because I'm guaranteed a position once I graduate. Some issues are that although I enjoy architecture I prefer interior design. Also, my university doesn't offer a barch so if I want to become registered I would have to get a march either way. Any input?

LOL, interior design. Architects can make interiors; interior designers can't make buildings. What I'm saying is, with architecture you get to have your cake and eat it too. Na Mean

I realize that. Would a bachelors in interiors with an m.arch in architecture be better than 2 degrees in architecture? or is job experience more important than degrees?

architecture is more important than interior design.
