Stelle Architects and ASUL have collaborated on a new residence in Amagansett, New York. This 3,000 square-foot home blends modern architecture with sustainability and affordability. With a construction budget of only $200 per-foot, Stelle realized the traditional architect/contractor process of the Hamptons, where prices start at $400 per-foot, would not work.
In researching alternatives, Stelle found ASUL, a company based in Arizona who has created an Adaptable System allowing the mass customization of homes. While the ASUL System preserves the architect's design latitude, its streamlines the site-built process ensuring affordability and predictability.
