Seasoned Architect in Los Angeles seeks collaborators

AJ Rosales

To be brief: I am trying to start up my own office in LA. I've got 25 years of practical experience in architecture, and an important series of library projects I can tout, one of which has had national exposure and acclaim. But I am hoping to find other highly seasoned people that might be interested in collaborating with me to find and gain interesting work. I realize it is difficult do this alone.

To be clear: I am not looking for interns. I am not looking for someone with less than 15 years of experience. I am looking for people with (preferably) corporate or civic work experience, possibly other types too. I am looking for people with practical, real-world skills that know what they are doing. Construction administration experience and possibly even some experience with specifications would be necessary. Someone with enough chops that they might be able to compete against brand name architects. Please don't contact me unless you meet these requirements.

This is not a paid position. Why, you ask? We would potentially pursue and market for work, using our combined skills and using the distinctions that I have earned as a fulcrum, and possibly yours too. This is something with real potential that could take off with the right people. I see it as something symbiotic that would be beneficial because we would be landing our own jobs. But I think we stand the best chance of succeeding (at least in the beginning) with the focus on my experience.

Do you want to be in control of your own career? I do. Please read my biography and visit my website to better understand who I am and what I might be looking for. Serious people only please. I can't stress that enough. Thanks.
