This month marks the topping out of our student scheme Thurston Road, in Lewisham. This photo captures the moment the last of the 636 prefabricated modules was installed on site. Cladding of the building envelope and construction of the ground floor areas and external landscaping areas continues at pace.

The first of the units was delivered to site on 18th January 2016 and this innovative construction technique has enabled the delivery and construction of all the student rooms over a 15 week installation period.

That is:

42 modules a week,

Or 7 Modules a day,

Or 1 and ½ floors a week!

Once completed, the scheme will provide 611 student rooms over two 12 storey blocks with associated communal facilities and commercial space at ground and first floor level.
