2-level offices for South Miami location of a private investment firm adapts the contemporary urban aesthetic of their New York headquarters to the atmosphere and culture of South Florida. This hedge fund is forward-thinking and employee-centric. We refreshed the existing fourth floor offices and expanded to the fifth floor above to house a staff of 15 within 5,000 square feet, while meeting SEC regulations for trading areas. Our goals were to develop a design-oriented, user-friendly and comfortable environment for employees. Seamlessly integrating the older space with the upper expansion level created a feeling of openness and capturing available light.  We used recycled materials when possible, as we had done for our previous design for the fund’s New York headquarters.
