This project was a collaboration between photographer Hugo Tillman and architect Lloyd Willem Huber. This installation travelled from Beijing (China) to Birmingham (England) to Terni (Italy).

The MAPLAB is a space that challenges the way in which we show and view artwork today.  It houses a large selection of photographs of constructed realities and corresponding audio tracks that reference seminal experiences of significant contemporary Chinese artists in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Guangzhou.  - Hugo Tillman
