The Burgess Group, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, selected Amenta Emma to design its new 7,000 sf office at Blue Back Square in West Hartford, CT. The company specializes in the development of Healthcare reimbursement software. Their project goal was for a Workplace that was beautiful, open, social and conducive to creative thinking. The new space delivers a simple and timeless aesthetic, incorporating exposed structure, open and collaborative work areas, natural materials and unobstructed views both within the space and to the exterior. The space encourages creativity and collaboration while affording employees privacy when required in shared conference rooms and meeting areas. A large training area provides the opportunity for expansion, company-wide meetings, and training.
