The Council of Educational Facility Planners International recognized the design of Marysville (Wash.) Getchell High School and Joplin (Mo.) Interim High School with the James D. MacConnell Award in 2011 and 2012 for the outstanding planning of education facilities. DLR Group is the only firm to win the MacConnell Award in consecutive years.
