We think that any given space, object or surface in our environment can be considered as ground - start point for re-evaluation and a canvas for physical intervention.  We look for opportunities to introduce wunder from within – to foster exploration, discovery, surprise or engagement of the built environment and to enrich the physical experience at an individual and personal scale through the design decisions that we make.

Founded in the fall of 2002 by principal architect Nancy Nienberg, wUNDERground is a Brooklyn based design architecture studio undertaking primarily private residences and special commercial, entertainment and retail interiors in the New York area.
