DSGN-PRJKT is the creative collaboration of Ryan Keerns and Kristen Smith who believe that design is a critical ongoing project of observation, practice and discovery.

Embedded in every circumstance is a potential for beauty. Inspired by the natural world, we believe that beauty is derived from the subtleties of form, pattern and color. The practice engages in all types of projects, from the real to the virtual, from furniture to buildings to urban plans. Our processes embrace contemporary models of communication, adaptation and fabrication to enhance the environments that we design. With a focus on these qualities, we seek to design the projects that allow us to fall in love, to find authenticity, to give us pleasure.

For us, the world is full of inspiration and projects in need of design.
