In 1967 Massimiliano Fuksas sets up his own studio in Rome, followed by a second one in Paris in 1989.
Studio Fuksas is led by Massimiliano Fuksas and Doriana O. Mandrelli and employs an international staff of architects, designers, urban planners, landscape architects, model makers, multimedia team and graphic designers that work in collaboration with expert consultants, engineers, artists, from the beginning to the end of the design process. Offices are organized into several departments and project groups with further divisions into fixed project-orientated studio spaces. With such a diversity of projects in various countries, Massimiliano Fuksas spends time at key stages of the project in each location and in addition reviews frequently the progress of the work, wanting to explore options and always searching for a better way to solve problems. An interdisciplinary organization, Studio Fuksas combines learning and experience from all disciplines to inform his design work.
