Kinlin Rutherfurd Architects has been designing residential projects in New York City and throughout the Northeast for 15 years. Our private residential projects range from ocean-front homes to Manhattan townhouses, and from mountain residences to apartment combinations and renovations. We are the Architects for large pre-war building renovations and condominium conversions in Manhattan that include lobbies, public spaces, apartment interiors and penthouses.
The principals, Bruce Kinlin and Elizabeth Rutherfurd have Master’s degrees in architectural design from the Yale School of Architecture. Before starting the firm, both were project architects elsewhere; Bruce with the architect Paul Rudolph, Lily at Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects. Other members of the 12 person firm bring a range of professional experience, expertise in design, project management and construction administration skills to bear on every project.
