First established in Peterborough in 1880 as William Blackwell Architect, Zeidler Partnership Architects is a leading Canadian architectural firm that brings together the experience of some 200 professionals in eight locations worldwide. In 1956, the firm opened their Toronto head office, and has since completed significant architectural projects including the Toronto Eaton Centre, Ontario Place, the atrium at the Hospital for Sick Children and Vancouver’s Canada Place. Recent projects include the new trainshed roof for GO Transit at Toronto’s Union Station, the Assuta Medical Center in Tel Aviv and the Canadian Diplomatic Complex in Seoul, as well as joint work on Toronto's Ryerson University Student Learning Centre and Calgary's The Bow.
Two senior partners Tarek El-Khatib and Vaidila Banelis, along with six partners lead a dedicated studio that pursue quality as the foundation of their practice. Senior partners emeritus Eberhard Zeidler and Alan Munn continue to provide support and advice to the team.
