MDSI Portfolio highlights include playing an integral role in the renaissance of the Oscar de la Renta brand with the design of his in-store boutiques as well as stores in Miami, Los Angeles, Athens, Madrid, and the upcoming openings in London and Moscow. Fashion Star alumnus John Varvatos has collaborated with MDSI on his New York and Las Vegas retail shops.
Renowned for exemplary restaurant design, the firm has produced enormous successes in New York with Locanda Verde, Boqueria, 10 Downing, and Mas Farmhouse, among others. Other parts of the world have seen their signature style at The Beach Club (Malta), The Dutch (Miami), Magnolia (Los Angeles) and Nobu (Southampton).
Hospitality projects for The W Hotels in Kanai and Santa Fe, Mexico are underway, as is Le Meridien in New Orleans. AKA Hotels in Washington DC and New York have recently been completed. The Capri in Southampton and The Nolitan in New York are superb examples of smaller boutique projects. Currently, MDSI is rightfully proud to be reimagining the legendary Paramount Hotel in New York and its in-house restaurant headed up by the BLT empire.
Residences all over the world exhibit the firm’s warm modernist esthetic, blending natural elements with state of the art contemporary materials.
