TIE ME DOWN

Are you getting tired of the old mundane stroll through the park? Need a place to escape? Do you want an actively changing landscape? Or, do you just like Fruit Loops for breakfast? Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions, then TIE ME DOWN is just for you! Situated near Lincoln and Wisconsin, TIE ME DOWN uses bungee cord, repurposed fabric and simple clips to create the ultimate urban jungle. Through manipulation of these surfaces, numerous reconfigurations become possible and allow for users to construct their own environment. Construction of this environment is controlled directly by the users clipping and unclipping corners of the fabric to specific locations. This flexibility allots for individuals to shape their own space and visually remain a part of the collective experience. TIE ME DOWN is a gesture that is reactive to the decisions each individual makes, and suggests that a collective identity is shaped once individual experiences come together.
