From ghost orchards to taco trucks, and from the city’s century-old water grab to the eviction of South Central Farm, Foodprint LA panelists will explore the forces that have shaped the Angeleno foodscape and speculate on how to feed LA in the future.<br>

Yesterday <a href="http://myriadsmallthings.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Jane Tsong</a> went into the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_River" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">LA River</a> and Mullholland Fountain to collect water for <a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150740229392069.459774.715462068&type=1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Waterlab!</a> opening as part of <a href="http://aplusd.org/exhibitions-current" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Drylands</a> at the <a href="http://aplusd.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">A+D Museum</a> opening tomorrow at 6:00pm</p>

As water collecting goes this was a good adventure and along the way everything was discussed from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zanja_Madre" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Los Angeles acequia history</a> to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Stamets" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Paul Stamets</a>, it was a good day.</p>
