According to an article in the <a href="http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-airbnb-homeless-housing-20161018-snap-story.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">L.A. Times:</a></p><p>"The contribution&nbsp;comes as a proposed ordinance&nbsp;to regulate short-term rentals is working its way to the&nbsp;<a title="Los Angeles City Council" href="http://www.latimes.com/topic/politics-government/government/los-angeles-city-council-ORGOVV0000379-topic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">City Council</a>.
