Gehry fans in NYC, here's one for you: A selection of over 30 Frank Gehry process models is currently on display at Manhattan's Leslie Feely Fine Art. The exhibition FRANK GEHRY AT WORK opened in April and still runs until June 29. The gallery is located at 33 E 68th Street, 5th Floor.

Junya Ishigami's architecture models go on show at DeSingel, Antwerp

Japanese architect Junya Ishigami has built a miniature landscape at DeSingel International Arts Campus in Antwerp. The former SANAA employee - who set up his fast-emerging practice in 2004 - has sited over fifty of his architecture models on a series of long tables inside the Campus, giving visitors a intimate overview of his varied oeuvre.

"Bonsai Buildings" Add Magical Model Houses To An Ancient Artform

These beautiful bottled buildings are wonderful, in the truest sense of the word. They are the result of a collaboration between artist Takanori Aiba and model-maker Kazuya Murakami. The finished products, stunning in their intricate detail, are the result of the alchemical mixture of skills and approach that the two bring to the work.

Scott Weaver's amazing piece, made with over 100,000 toothpicks over the course of 35 years, is a depiction of San Francisco, with multiple ball runs that allow you to go on "tours" of different parts of the city. It will be on display in the Tinkering Studio until June 19th!

Photo-Realistic Model of Tokyo Braces a Highrise Dream

A complex scale model of Tokyo is on view by appointment at Tokyo's Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills. The model was built in 2003 by 30 Mori employees over approximately 17 months. All streets and buildings were photographed at street level and from above via helicopter. They were then adjusted in Photoshop and glued to polystyrene models.
