Known for his stadium in Braga, Portugal and his House Number Two in Bom Jesus, Portugal, the 66 year-old architect is often praised for his ability to blend drama with his thoughtful use of colors and materials.</p> <p>The coin to honor Souto de Moura has been designed by another Portuguese architect, and fellow Pritzker winner, <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/146612/alvaro-siza-vieira" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Alvaro Siza</a>. The design focuses on nature and construction, with one side featuring a stylized depiction of his&nbsp;Igreja de Santa Maria in&nbsp;Marco de Canavese, and the other, an abstract line drawing of a tree.&nbsp;</p> <p>Last year, a coin designed by Eduardo Suoto de Moura was released to honor Siza.
