Archinect Project Collections presents your Folly 2015 proposals!

Following the recent conclusion of the official Folly 2015 competition, Archinect and Bustler invited everyone who participated to share their entries by posting them right on their Archinect profiles.

We already started our Folly 2015 list, which you can now check out here.

BUSTLER’S NEW CALL FOR ENTRIES: Share your Folly 2015 non-finalist proposals!

In the annual Folly competition, the Socrates Sculpture Park and the Architectural League of New York invite early-career architects and designers to bring out their eccentric side and propose a contemporary architectural folly. The winning design is then constructed and temporarily installed at the Socrates Sculpture Park throughout the summer months.

The official Folly 2015 competition is already done, but Archinect and our sister site Bustler want to provide an additional platform to showcase and celebrate participants' non-winning Folly entries in our latest Call for Non-Finalists.

TO SHARE YOUR COMPETITION ENTRY:

You will have to create an Archinect people or firm profile. Just click the "Log in/Join" button on the left-hand side in the black navigation bar.

If you already have an Archinect profile, you're one step ahead. Simply log into your account and upload your submission to your Project Portfolio. (Make sure to mention the word "Folly" somewhere in the project title!) Don't have a Project Portfolio yet? Click here to get started.

As more entries are uploaded, we will continuously highlight the ones that pique our interest.

Many teams have already followed Archinect & Bustler's recent call to post your non-finalist entries to the highly popular Bamiyan Cultural Centre design competition in Afghanistan directly on your Archinect profiles.

BUSTLER’S NEW CALL FOR ENTRIES: Share your Bamiyan Cultural Centre submissions!

The recent announcement of the final results for the Bamiyan Cultural Centre design competition in Afghanistan was met with euphoric excitement by the winning teams and blunt disappointment by other participants, even resulting in an online petition to re-evaluate the jury's decision. While the dispute continues, we want to invite all you non-finalists to submit your competition entries and present them to our huge international audience after all.

In our last Call for Non-Finalists — following the insanely popular Guggenheim Helsinki design competition — we were overwhelmed with a great number of stunning submissions, which you can now find here.

Archinect Project Collections presents your Guggenheim Helsinki proposals!

One of 2014's most popular news item was the announcement of Stage One of the not uncontroversial Guggenheim Helsinki Design Competition.

With a mind-boggling pool of over 1,700 Stage One entries (and one Idaho potato) from 77 countries, it's tough to grant each proposal an appropriate platform and audience — so we created a new exciting Archinect feature: Project Collections!

Over the past few weeks, many of you had already followed our call to share your own submissions as project posts directly on your Archinect people or firm profiles, and Project Collections has them now all accessible in one handy Guggenheim Helsinki list.

Haven't submitted your entry yet? Worry not — the collection is an ongoing effort and new matches are constantly being added to the list.
