It’s now a bit easier, as NCARB has announced a new “Certificate Portfolio” path for architects with “significant professional experience and degrees with non-accredited design programs.”

If you’re an architect licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction but hold a degree in something besides architecture—or even no college degree at all—you can complete an online portfolio and, if it meets certain requirements, you can get certified.

“This revised path makes the goal of professional mobility achievable for a broader range of licensed individuals, while maintaining the quality standards expected by our boards and the public,” says NCARB President Kristine A. Harding, NCARB, AIA.

Find out more here.
https://archinect.com/news/article/116035941/wright-architecture-school-sets-fund-raising-goal-for-independence Wright Architecture School Sets Fund-raising Goal for Independence Alexander Walter 2014-12-15T13:12:00-05:00 >2014-12-15T13:13:00-05:00
The architecture school run by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation will try to raise $2 million before the end of 2015 to ensure its future as an independent organization, the foundation announced on Monday, having approved a possible path toward the school’s incorporation.
