Bronin is already an advisor to the <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/612773/national-trust-for-historic-preservation" target="_blank">National Trust for Historic Preservation</a> and has been featured recently in Archinect for her ongoing efforts surrounding <a href="https://archinect.com/features/article/150261356/connecticut-is-in-the-spotlight-as-a-housing-reform-hotspot" target="_blank">housing segregation in Connecticut</a>. The Detroit-based writer outlines how users "inclined to wear skirts are feeling even more on display than the 100,000 books" held within the space.&nbsp;</p> <p>Sharp writes that the slatted gratings at the upper levels, which are meant to allow air and light through the space, instead encourage indecorous sight-lines. Thomas Memorial Lecture series at the Department of Architecture at <a href="https://archinect.com/schools/cover/1544387/cornell-university" target="_blank">Cornell University</a>. It marked the 50th anniversary of the 1969&nbsp;<em>Earth Art</em> exhibition held in what was then the Andrew Dickson White Museum of Art in Ithaca.</p> <p>As a nod to the 1969 event, this year's symposium sought to look at the "significance for art, architecture, and design in the contemporary situation defined by planetary issues of environmental crises."
