Unique among the current proliferation of architecture prizes, the $50,000 MCHAP was initiated by dean and prominent Architect <a href="http://archinect.com/Wiel-Arets-Architects" target="_blank">Wiel Arets</a> to celebrate the best of architecture in both North and South America.</p>
