I completed my BA degree at Wake Forest University in May of 2013 graduating with a double major in studio art and English. My professional interests lie primarily in graphic design, visual branding, creative marketing, and illustration.


Professional experiences include industry research, event planning, design production for print & online media, and internal group leadership & management for various non-profit/profit organizations.

I am a highly creative, task-oriented individual who thrives in both collaborative and individually based environments.



POET.she Female Performing Arts, Greensboro, NC, US, Graphic Design Intern

Work closely with a team of paid staff and volunteers to transform their ideas into communicative end products including a redesign of the company logo and website. Provided original copy and layout designs for branded promotional materials such as direct mailings, posters, flyers, and other materials as needed.

Design logos, layout promotional marketing tools, and edit pre-existing Illustrator and InDesign files used to promote local organizations through informational posters, social media platforms, and promotional merchandise. Past clients have included both non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Student-run weekly newspaper at Wake Forest University. Worked with editors from all sections of newspaper to create visuals that supplemented articles for print and online publication. Learned basic project management skills by overseeing a staff of five graphic designers an consulting with editors in order to optimize layout design while adhering to strict weekly deadlines.

Awarded a research grant from the university to work with a faculty member from the department of Studio Art researching typography and visual communication with a historical emphasis on the evolution of text and font.

International conference of motivational speakers held at Wake Forest University highlighting technological and social impact. Designed a visual identity through logo design that was used for event programs, merchandise, and promotional posters used throughout the greater Winston-Salem area.

Scholarship awarded by the Department of Studio Art based upon merit and achievement outside of the classroom.


Wake Forest Undergraduate Research Fellow 2012-13, Grant

Up to 150 competitive, merit-based fellowships each year financially assist students who collaborate with faculty mentors on research projects. The awards can be used during the school year or during the summer and are in the amount of $2,000 or $3,000. Student applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average at the time of proposal submission.
