After years of pre-college architecture programs at Fallingwater and Pratt Institute, I am currently working towards my Bachelors of Science of Design for Interior Design.
I am interested in an internship for the summer of 2013.
Currently based in Indianapolis, Phoenix, and New York.
Kohl's, Carmel, IN, US, Point of Sale Associate
This summer I worked as a Point-of-Sale representative at Kohl’s, where I further established a deep relationship with customer service. There, I learned how to effectively work with a team, resolve customer conflict, and enhance my organizational skills. Being a POS Associate, I was the first and last person customers saw during their trip to Kohl’s. Being the customers’ first impression of the store itself, I understood how important interpersonal skills were for effective relationships with the visitor.
Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, US, BArch, Pre-College
I enrolled in 4 college credit courses at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. While completing various projects, I learned how to develop proactive and unique approaches to various problems. In this team oriented environment, the ability to multi-task in a fast pace was essential to completion of the program. After spending the summer in Brooklyn, I became familiar with the area and I matured to become an independent designer. I developed a deep passion for the industry of design and this immersion has benefited my professional skills.
