Georgia Institute of Technology Molecular Science & Engineering Building

The 275,000 SF Molecular Science & Engineering Building (MSE) houses research programs for the College of Science Department of Chemistry, Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Material Science Engineering, and Polymer, Textile, Fiber Engineering (PTFE) from the College of Engineering. The MSE building has state-of-the-art interdisciplinary laboratories for scientists and engineers to collaborate and explore materials at atomic and molecular levels in developing new biomaterials for use in artificial organs and skin, advanced microchip materials for faster computers, photonic crystals for faster electronic communications, and ultra lightweight materials for more efficient vehicles and air transport.
