My name is Deana Della Cioppa and I am a Junior level Interior Designer. I am originally from Dutchess County, NY, but currently reside in the Financial District of New York City. I graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Interior Design in May 2015. I am a young and driven designer who is looking for the right place to pursue my passion for design.

Through my life I have always had that creative spark inside of me. I found myself captivated and inspired by the details that surrounded me. It wasn't until I went to college for design where I found the right place to pursue those interests. Through the extensive design training that I received at Syracuse University I was able to challenge my creative abilities and discover my true talent and passion within design. While I have always particularly exceeded with design style, overtime, I found myself discovering that design isn't solely based on how the space looks, but how the space makes people feel. For me that is my passion, bettering the lives of people and giving them that incredible euphoric feeling that comes along with a beautifully designed space.

As a brand educator, I broaden customer knowledge about Wine and Spirit products, allowing them to taste the product and provide them with knowledge about the brand. In this position I work directly with the customers, face-to-face, keeping them interested and selling them the product.
Decor Aid, New York, NY, US, Junior Interior Designer / Project Procurement
Decor Aid is a fast paced modernized interior design firm. Decor Aid took the traditional structure to a interior design firm, and made it more accessible to the everyday person. Within the firm I started as a purchasing agent, handling the purchasing and project procurement. I was then promoted to a designer where I conducted client consultations and completed design projects.
FW Interiors, Wappingers Falls, NY, US, Junior Interior Designer
FW Interiors is a comprehensive design firm that designs a wide range of projects such as large and small scale residences, hotels, and restaurants. FW is know for their luxury home designs and have designed notable hospitality spaces throughout the Hudson Valley, such as Shadows on the Hudson, Suites in the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel, Anthony's Pier 9, and many more. As a junior designer, I work side-by-side with the head designers on a variety of different design projects. I participate in client meetings, field measuring, and material/furniture selections. I am held highly responsible with completing intensive CAD drawings and am trusted to explore my own design talents, adding my own touches to each project. Working at FW allows me to explore every aspect of a design project, from the initial client meeting, to the finished product.
