I am seeking a full-time intermediate design position that will help me gain valuable experience towards my goal of becoming a licensed architect. I have broad experience in both design development and construction documentation from a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial and institutional work.
I would like to focus on sustainable architecture that is responsible both toward the environment and those who use the building. I have worked on projects such as: Ohlone College Student Services Center (LEED Gold, $23 million), Modesto Junior College Allied Health Building ($25 million), Barbara Lee Senior Center and high end residential in the Tiburon / Mill Valley area. My diversified background in the construction field allows me to see issues from many different perspectives lending a well-rounded approach to my design process.
I enjoy working with a variety of people and gain a great deal of satisfaction from the building process. Being concerned about the environment, I incorporate sustainable principles in my designs and solutions and would be happy to share my portfolio further. Please contact me to discuss any available opportunities.
Sincerely,
David Kelley
