LIBRARIES’ MAIN FUNCTIONS ARE NO LONGER JUST BOOK KEEPING. IT IS A
PLACE OF GATHERING, EDUCATION, MEETING, PRESENTATION, AND TECH-
NOLOGY. THE GLOBAL SOCIETY SEEKS FOR A HYBRID OF MULTIPLE COLORS AND
FUNCTIONS. THIS ‘GREEN-SCAPE LIBRARY’ PROPOSAL FOR SOUTH KOREAN CITY
OF DAE-GU AIMS TO MAXIMIZE VERSATILITY AND MINIMIZE CARBON-FOOTPRINT
BY USING NATURAL LIGHTING AND NATURAL VENTILATION.
