About

Experienced registered architect with seventeen years of experience in a wide range of building types, from mixed use multi family towers to justice, sacred and education programs.  Nine years spent in New York City in offices including that of Gary Handel. Most recent eight years have been on largely institutional work in the District of Columbia.  I have managed A/E teams in the design and execution of a number of renovation and ground up projects, successfully navigating complex local and national review boards, very tight school schedules and demanding ANC groups.  My approach to design is one of problem solving.  I strive to capitalize on a project's constraints as a generator of thoughtful technical, programatic, environmental and aesthetic solutions that fulfill a client's needs as well  those of the communities to which they belong as succinctly and elegantly as possible.
