For full-time architecture students at Texas Tech University who have completed at least four semesters work, including two semesters of design studio. Applicants should have demonstrated qualities of leadership and enthusiasm for architecture with intent of becoming a registered practicing architect. Candidate's portolio, SAT/ACT scores, GPA, financial need and personal interview are criteria for the award. Number of awards varies from one to five.

El Paso AIA Chapter Scholarship, Scholarship

Awarded to an architecture student who is entering 3rd year or higher design studio and is enrolled in one of the seven schools of architecture in Texas. The applicant's permanent address must be within the El Paso Chapter area (Brewer, Culberson, El Paso, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Loving, Pecos, Presidio, Reeves, Terrell, Ward, and Winkler counties). Award based primarily on outstanding architectural talent with financial need secondary criterion. Portfolio will be submitted to Austin for review.

Paul W Foster, Scholarship

The Paul W. Foster scholarship will be awarded to students seeking dual degrees in architecture and engineering or architecture and business. The student should have a 2.75 grade point average upon application. The preference of the donor is the scholarship will be awarded to historically underrepresented student populations at the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University.
