Reinforcing Evolution-Centric Frameworks for Architectural Conception
The prototypes presented are a part of a continuing investigation in applied evolutionary computation. A framework for "optimizing fitness" is adapted through a series of "if-then" principles, where candidate solutions are selected within a linear set of constraints found to be most fitting in systems architecture, as well as through a matrix of formal and spatiotemporal patterns (such as those found in the shell armatures of mudsnails). This form of thinking allows for local variations to evolve within a generic field such that, the notion of "evolution-centric" architectural conception may warrant a more prevalent and readily applicable framework in the early design stages.
