Friday will be a big day for the Architecture Department at Iowa State. The event is called "Premiere," a celebration of the new academic year for the department. Design theorist Michael Benedikt will provide a lecture, "The True, The Good, The Beautiful," which will provide "an illustrated examination of how Plato's triumvirate of ultimate values plays itself out in contemporary architecture—or could."
Following will be the opening of the 2012 Architecture Rome Show, which will recap the experiences we had last fall in Europe.
