Recently visited LACMA and noticed some emergency plans with the addition of Richard Serra's installation.
I might have never noticed it, except we've been reading Yves Alain Bois "A picturesque stroll around Clara-Clara” and Robin Evans “Translations From Drawing to Building” for Silvia Lavin's Intro to Architectural Theory; both deal directly/indirectly with discrepancies in ideating form through architectural plan and building, and drawing as a series of interruptions and translations within architecture itself.

A process blog and collection of stories, observations, thought experiments, photographic essays and overheard conversations in the UCLA M.Arch I program.
