The lecture was a summary of the work presented within her book Enduring Innocence and a building/urbanism typology she has named "Zone." Zone as typology is the resulting architecture and urban conditions created in context of exploited free trade zones.
Initially they start off as FTZ but mutate into places that house industry(IT, agriculture, for example) and commerce, taking advantage lax and non-existent regulation by the nation which they occupy. "Zone" is a global economic condition.
I liked the lecture. It got kind of heavy on vocabulary at times but never really out of place.
