Last night, I went to the Knitting Factory's 20th Anniversary Celebration at Town Hall. It goes without saying, but it was an amazing lineup. Here are some images:

Also, last night was the first time I had been to Times Square since 1990. I was surprised by the lack of darkness in that space -- a intersection wholly, dramatically lit by illuminated, Shibuya-esque commercial signage:
