here are some renderings of the revised milstein hall with part of its building cantilevered above University Ave.

personally, despite the $1 million dollar extra cost for cantilevering the structure over university ave, i like the changes!

those ceiling panels look like the pressed metal 'saloon' panels you get at home depot to make your basement look like an old bar.
or some generic pattern from sketchup
nope custom stamped tin panels. they are actually pretty nice.
stamped tin panels = saloon. I'm not liking them. Ahh well. The foldy blobby thing could be neat. Does this project kind of look like a 60s throwback to anyone else?
i've been trying to get those tin panels incorporated into some modern design...except i might of done something a little less standard.
i'll take a seven and seven! standard basement bar drink of indianastan.
That's my standard drink, vado! Do I belong in Indianastan?
But in a high-class place with custom stamped tin panels, I'd have to go with a side-car.
harvey wallbanger for me please.
you can be our queen miss myriam!
Yea, I am not at all sure about those panels either.
Is that area next to Sibley going to be outdoors? It's so funny to see the basement windows there next to the spaceman architecture. Are those I beam shaped columns supposed to echo the ones in Rand? They look a bit odd, no?
Do you know if there is still parking underneath?
Thanks so much for posting!
