Victoria University's School of Architecture is a leading centre of architecture and building science teaching and research in New Zealand.

The facilities at the Schools are widely acknowledged as being amongst the best in the country and students are very well supported in their studies.

The building is itself a statement in architectural quality. Formerly a cargo building, it was gutted, remodelled and radically refurbished to become an award-winning landmark.

Major items of research equipment available in the Faculty include: a wind tunnel, heliodon, sky simulator, effulger, beam testing rig and instruments for field measurements of thermal, lighting, acoustic, ventilation and air quality conditions.
